the pioneers of quantum mechanics were self-critical. today, we have adopted a 'shut up and calculate' mentality. just because 'it works' does not mean it is consistent. all these bugs will eventually cause the kernel to panic. thus, some spooky aspects of QM will become obsolete as progress continues and inconsistent beliefs are rendered use-less.
